Hey ND friends out there,
Just dropping you a little note about some happy news. Mieke and and I gave birth to a healthy baby boy this past Wednesday June 18th. (Well I have to admit that Mieke did all the birthing...)
His name is Rio Atticus Dumont and he and his Mamma are both happy and doing well! We're very very elated and a little tired, but wanted to let you know as soon as we could.

Been thinking so much about you all lately as I am back in the studio again with the boys trying to write some new music. What an amazing few years it has been. So inspired going through the dance record phase of my life. Thank you so much for all your support! The tour was incredible. We ended up doing over 100 shows around the world and it was so rewarding and again inspiring. Thank you to everyone who came out to see it...memories for life! Great to be home with with all my boys. Feels crazy to be pregnant all over again!!!!! We have been spending every day up in the little studio in our house trying to write music. My favorite part so far is just seeing the guys everyday and hanging out. We have so much fun together. The songwriting part is a bit slow on my part...I think it has something to do with the baby in my belly but I'm sure it is all of the process and I really believe this could be the most inspired No Doubt record so far. Cant wait to see what happens. All my love g

Here in So Cal the sun has started to hang out, which is nice because it shines into the little studio space where we've been working on some new music. This year is going to be so great, making music together again. I don't want to disclose too much too soon, but we have a heap of new ideas being explored. Tony, Adrian, and Gwen say hi, as well...

Hey ND community!

Just a belated Happy Holidays to you all, and of course Happy New Year as well!

There's a variety of news to report here, starting with of course the new ND album.
We're eager to get together and make some great music this year. It's been awhile and absence makes the heart fonder, and we're feeling very very fond of making some No Doubt stew for ourselves and for you too.

What else? Oh yeah time keeps passing and I am stoked to be turning 40 this week (I'm the first in ND to do so- the "old man" of the group I suppose

Plugs- Recently I produced the second album for my friend Matt Costa, it comes out this month on January 22.

I'm working with my buddy Ted Matson on the music score for a Documentary Film entitled "The Providence Effect". More info on that in the coming months.

What else? Oh yeah Mieke and I are pregnant again, due in June, don't tell anyone- Shhhh:)

Hey you guys! Sorry about the long delay in posting. This has been a great summer for all of us! Personally, I have been doing fun family stuff like camping, going to county fairs, Disneyland, and lots of swimming with Mason. Looking forward to my favorite holiday, HALLOWEEN!!! Once again, i will be a clown. On the music side of things, i will be performing at House of Blues, Anaheim w/ The Start opening for Rancid on Oct. 12. Anybody watch Rock Star Supernova? That was my favorite show of the summer and i will most likely be going into the studio with Dilana to play drums on her record. Thanks to all for your ND support and we can't wait to bring you new music in the near future!! i hope all you have had a great summer, and for those you going back to school, kick ***, and do your homework!! Clearing up some confusion...

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing okay out there. I've been having fun with my new baby, I'm an expert diaper changer now.

There seems to be some confusion out there, because the press has picked up on the Band Journal here, dated 5/2 which states that Tony, Adrian and I have been writing songs in the studio lately. Yes we have been working on music, and yes without Gwen, but that's because she's 9 months pregnant and resting up to give birth very soon. We're writing and recording music to be collborated on with Gwen at a later date, after she's had plenty of time to settle into being a new Mom. Anyway the point is that we're writing music with Gwen's blessing for No Doubt, which obviously includes Gwen. No Doubt is not broken up, of course Gwen is still in the band, and it's been that way for about 20 years now. Okay, I hope that's clear enough. All the best and take care No Doubters...
