Running lacks the impact of Spiderwebs because Running is really just an esoteric piece where the band looks back upon their own experience whereas Spiderwebs makes a profound statement about the human condition. Running is cloistered, like a eulogy at a close friend's funeral while Spiderwebs is truth at 24 frames per second.    Report

But the song, I have to be in the mood to listen to it from beginning to end. So sometimes what I do is I watch the video without sound. All the pics are great. As for Spiderwebs, I also like the video. Gwen looks so mischievous with all those faces she makes. I know ND don't like that video a lot because they feel it doesn't represent them or whatever, but I really do enjoy it. That's all I say, I say no more So please don't ask for an encore!    Report

At least thats what was sometimes said right when that video premiered back in the day. I personally like it cuz its set up really neatly and the beach scenes are so down to earth, and serene at the same time. Its also very No Doubt. It's definately not a favorite of mine though. Hey Baby's another good video with a cool, jamaican-vibed concept...that totally worked right off of recording in Jamaica. Its stylish with a little story and unified the group with there personalities. Hella Good reminds me of Spiderwebs a bit...in that the "band goes bad" lol.    Report
