I know what you are saying but maybe you could try what depeche mode is doing on their official site. They have a thread and you can only SWAP or sell at FACE VALUE. It is working really well because people would get what they thought were excellent seats (and they were) but searched days later and got even better. They then helped out fellow fans by selling them the first set. Win win situtation for everyone! Of course DM put a disclaimer that the band and the website are not responsible but they are having no problems with this thread.

it's okay to post ebay links, just no direct selling on the forum....meaning you can post a new thread with your ebay link but not just post a new thread saying you are selling tickets.

usually band forums are good for finding tickets, so i think its kinda dissapointing theres no ticket forum. Not to mention nobody is forcing anyone to pay any crazy prices that people might end up selling tickets for.

ive never heard of any other band forum sites being responsible for people getting ripped off, thats a new one to me... but anyway doesnt matter. Just thought it would be a good thing to help fans get tickets without having to go to ebay.
