I'm talking about the HBO show "The Wire"
probably the best show in the 2000's for sure. All 5 seasons are on DVD.

I think it's my favourite tv series of all time. I only recently bought season five, it wasn't quite as good as the first four (three and four were my favourites) but it was great too.
Omar is probably the best character I've ever seen on TV.
Eva makes the best sigs on the planet!

for me seinfeld is the only show better than the wire. like this show is so real and powerful. season 5's angle was alright but yeah season 3 and 4 are so great. First season is awesome too. My fav characters were Stringer and Snoop

I liked Stringer. I actually liked most of the Barksdale crew, Bodie and Slim Charles were two of my favourites as well. Along with Prop Joe.
It took me a few episodes to work out that Snoop was even a girl lol. I bought her book for mom this Christmas because she likes the Wire too.

I had Snoop as my avatar on here for months, but the show only showed her once or twice in season 3 ( on the back of the motorbike) and had her be a tomboy for the show. String was the *** because he was all about business. on the police side McNulty & Bunk were the best.

That was probably my favourite scene throughout the entire series.
There weren't many other cops I liked. I liked Prez when he became a teacher. McNulty was a bit of an ass but I he was cool up until the last season. On the good side Rhonda would have been my favourite, she was funny and a redhead. Perfect.
Imagine how different it all would have turned out if Avon got locked up instead of what happened to Stringer.

lol @ Rhonda. I'd take Beadie instead, she's a red head too.
Freamon and Daniels were two other cops I really liked and how they played their roles.
I really wish that *** didn't happen to Stringer :( , seriously my fav character on the show.
