I had it yesterday, as my mom has asthma I had it done as well, and you're arm just kills hourers after you had it done - I we had it done around 3pm and it started to hurt around 10:45pm !! Sooooooo much more the the Cervical Cancer jabs and you feel really ill after - as a result of it, I got sent home, feeling SH!T !!! and I didn't really get any sleep last night (because of it), so I've just been asleep for about an hour ! Hopefully, I wont get swine flu and if I do, I'll be totally angury ! Just telling you if get it done or get a letter through (etc etc) Thanks Brittney. I really don't see the point in vaccinating people NOW after all this time. It's NOT deadly if you're healthy, and the regular flu has killed more this year. I won't be getting it even if offered, because there's no point and I'll just have to take an hour off of work for a 20 second appointment. Oh, and if you didn't know, a vaccine is just injecting a tiny bit of the virus into you to make you immune. So if you're feeling ill after having it, it's likely you actually do have the Swine. But don't worry, you'll live. Everything's going to change.    Report

I thought the swine flu vaccine was inhaled through the nose... at least thats the one I saw on the news a while back. Oh well Im out of the loop... But my sisters (5 and 9) got the swine flu vaccine and they didnt get sick. It must depend on the individual.    Report

Ive never had a flu shot of any kind but having had the flu just recently (not sure if it was regular or swine flu) I now think its better to get a vaccine and suffer a bit from the side effects than to have the full-on thing... The flu sucks balls and Im sure the swine flu sucks even harder X_x    Report

Ask the doctor to give you the list of ingredients and research those before saying yes, there have been reports of doctors refusing to reveal what's in the vaccine and the NHS website won't provide the full list either.  Leaked documents from the US show it contains HCG hormones which sterilise women and thimerosal (46% mercury), if you don't want children and don't mind brain damage and cancer, roll up your sleeve, otherwise tell them where to shove it.
