I come and go. I still have to check on you kids now and then. I think it has been 5 years now since I first visited here. I've never seen or talked to any of you in person. But here I have gotten to know some people that I wouldn't have otherwise known. It all started with an article I read in Newsweek. But that is another story.
For anyone who cares, an update on what I'm up to.
Sitll working at a hardware store. They depend on me enough to let me get away with some stuff and to make some allowances for some school and more recently a play. I'm The Spirit of Christmas Present in "Scrooge", that is, if I don't blow it. It is good to be back in theator and singing. It is nice working with the children.
I'll be seeing family in OK. My daughter is to go to OK too, from PA. My son is back safe from a second trip to the Middle East. He's not going to OK. Getting revenge on his wife/exwife/whatever is more important to him. (not good for his soul).
I went from spending too much time here to spending too much time on The Young Turks chat where I usually go by the names Wake, WakeUp, or WakeUpAmerica. Political discussions dominate there. It is an older crowd, so I say things that I won't here.
Anyway, I'm slowly getting on with life. I stumble; I try again. That is life. I have things better than many others. If anyone has anything to say to me, PM or put it here. I'll save the link to this thread. Bye now. Tomorrow will be a very long day for me. Good night and best wishes.

lamb83, almost always here, always kind. wishing you well too. Now better go read myself to sleep. I'm reading "Self Inflicted Wounds". It is about money; from coming off the gold standard to repeatedly doing the same things over and over that set us up for this financial crisis. It makes it a bit hard to be optimistic. Hey, the other bigD. That's what the called you in HS. Good to see you here again. You haven't missed much. I finally read through the threads and learned how to make clicky sigs. Wow, didn't know that you had kids. Nice. My oldest is 6. I have 3 kids. I was playing mr. Mom tonight. The wife went with her friends to see new moon.
