This has been bugging me, and straight out just tell me...is he actually into me or not? My boyfriend super duper detatched, and I went into the relationship being aware of that because we were friends for a long time before because I knew how he is. But recently I started getting annoyed because I constantly make sure I am not too clingy. Like I haven't seen him for awhile, and I said "I miss you" and right afterwards I thought in my head..."oh that probably sounds too clingy" and he didn't say he missed me back.:/ but shouldn't I have a right to say what i feel without the constant check that I won't sound too clingy? And when we hang out often, like a whole weekend or we just see  each other a lot, he is like the best boyfriend ever and he's super sweet and caring, and when i don't see him for awhile cause we are busy or something and we spend time together again he is completely detached. He is like a concrete wall that I try to warm up. I WANT HIM TO BE METAL. I know I kinda have relationships that are like that with friends, like I only like them when i spend a lot of time with them, but when I don't see them I don't even wanna hang out with them. But it shouldn't be your GIRLFRIEND you feel like that for?  is he just not that into me? NOV. 2ND 2007-BEST DAY EVER. you should ask why so I can brag.    Report

Clingy is calling him 100 times per day and beating up every other girl he glances in the direction of. You shouldn't have to act different for him. And everything is different for everyone.... So I talked to him about it and he said that he didn't think it was like that at all. and I could tell he really didn't think that way cause he makes the same expression he makes when he strongly doesn't agree with something. I didn't talk about the clingyness part because we got distracted. but things already are better (i don't know if it's because I am seeing him more, or that he realised it and changed) ...but I should confront him about it again because i don't know if things will change NOV. 2ND 2007-BEST DAY EVER. you should ask why so I can brag.    Report

If I was in the same position I'd likely be too scared to bring it up and just put up with it. Even though I'd know I shouldn't so good girl for bringing it up and talking about it.    Report
