One thing I've realized about No Doubt merch or footage. At least since No Doubt became famous, they've never and never will release something just because fans want it. I mean, when was the last time the band or label listened to demmands of fans on the forum and released something purely from requests of fans???
Anything that has been or will be released will be only for Record Label/Interscope Marketing purposes. If it doesn't serve the interests of the label or companies and is not in the grand marketing plan, then it doesn't get released. I don't think it's No Doubt's fault or choice. I'm sure there's all kinds of stuff the band would like to do or release, but can't because it doesn't serve the interests of the Marketing plan the label has.
The only reason there was a HL Tour DVD is because of how popular the LAMB era was and the fact that they were still in the process of leading into the TSE era, but since Gwen got her solo era desires out of her system, then there wasn't any reason to market that era further. This is of coarse all my opinion or observations, so I could be wrong, but that's my understanding. That's also why we didn't get any real footage or behind the scene stuff from the 2009 No Doubt tour, is because there wasn't a new album to push further promotion, just you wait when No Doubt does there next tour for the new album we'll get a lot more stuff.
yeah, sadly it's not going to happen.
i mean why would she release something that that loyal fans clearly want and is important to them? lol

What I've figured out is wether we're talkin about Gwen or No Doubt, every major band is ran from a bussiness point of view. Everything from DVD's to what songs they play at their shows are sadley NOT taylored to the desires of their loyal fans. In the meeting room they don't sit down and ask "what would our loyal fans want", they sit down and ask "What's best for our bussiness", it's all marketing.
If they played shows for loyal fans then they wouldn't play nearly as many singles, they're playing for the masses, for the majority, for the average consumer not the loyal fan. If No Doubt were a less Pop band then they wouldn't have much of a choice, but to play what loyal fans want and less from what a bussiness wants, because Less popular bands rely more heavily on their core loyal fanbase, but Pop bands don't, they rely more on the average consumer.
That's the whole reason a band like 311 plays less singles and more what loyal fans want, because they rely more on a loyal underground fanbase because they don't have as much of a mainstream audience, but with No Doubt's the exact opposite with No Doubt most of those who buy their tickets/Music are average mainstream consumers and less is from the loyal hardcore fanbase, so they taylor whatever they do to what the masses want not the loyal fans. Sad, but true. It all comes down to bussiness.
