I'm thinking of going to at least one of the shows...How close is it to a major airport? Also, is it near a beach and is it warm enough to go to the beach at the end of October? Its about a 20 minute drive coming from either way. So which ever airport of those two you could get a better deal on.    Report

San Francisco has beaches but there would be even colder!! You would probably have to drive up to Santa Cruz, Capitola, or Monterey. But its over an hour long drive from Mountain View. Norcal doesn't have as many beaches as Socal.    Report

Our beaches are really cold, the weather should still be great, but I would wear a jacket or sweater because it will be cold that night, it always is. Mountain View is close to San Francisco and San Jose, if you want a smaller airport, fly into San Jose. Ill be at this show too! Born To Blossom, Bloom to Perish    Report

Santa Cruz isn't very far at all and is quite nice still, only a 1/2 hour drive.... you can also vist the Boardwalk...and the San Jose airport is a lot closer to Mountain View than SF is. -NoDoubterChris    Report
