Well i know for me it goes in and out of phases, idk its weird, keep trying it should work someday in the future, normally it doesn't work for me when i just changed my AV, but you have had your for a while, so idk..... thats wierd

Mine usually works straight away too, although I've only had two, haha. Maybe try saving your new avatar as the same thing as your current one, then upload it. It might not work, but just something different, meh ;)
By the way - how did you get your avatar so clear and sharp? Mine was as clear as my signature when I made it, but as soon as I uploaded it, it became pixellated :/
(edit) Scratch that - I just noticed yours has way more KB than mine, was it big when you uploaded it?

You need to make it 79x79 px or smaller. The real size for avatars is actually 80x80 though, but if you have that size they sometimes come out blurry anyway...

my avatar thingy is weird too. it takes forever to change mine but i just keep pressing the update button for a while and then it finally changes.
