11-20-2009, 2:12 PM JillyBean Joined on 02-16-2006 in your closet waiting for pancakes Posts 13,692 Re: Lady GaGa! sorry if this has already been mentioned, but i just read that Telephone was originally written for Britney to go on the Circus album, but she didn't end up using it. so Gaga decided she'd work it and supposedly the new plan was for Britney to appear on the track, but then she wanted it to be on her greatest hits album (pretty fu.cked up, not good enough for Circus, but now that Gaga's popular she wants it on her hits). so Gaga decided to "upgrade" and get Beyonce. good decision in the end i think. thanks Randy! <333    Report

Ah cool, I read that it was meant to be with somebody else/the whole greatest hits thing but didn't know it was meant to be Britney, I don't think it would have been as good with her tbh, her voice is too blah to really add anything to the song IMO    Report
